String Along is a group of professionally trained musicians sharing decades of experience in music making and entertaining. Our music adds ambience and musical colour to special events. With our wide variety of both vocal and instrumental combinations, we perform and entertain guests at weddings, attendees at corporate functions, private functions and open air festivals.

String Along operates mainly in the Stellenbosch, wider Boland and Cape Town areas. Popular venues where String Along has performed include the Oude Libertas, Zevenwacht, Morgenster, Tokara, Vredenheim, Spier, Durbanville Hills Winery, The Bay Hotel - Camps Bay and The Mount Nelson, to name but a few.

All ensembles - various duo combinations, trio for flute, violin and cello and the string quartet - provide a variety of repertoire, ranging from classical to light music, according to the needs of the function it provides music for.
